My Poem to Mrs. Kennedy
Roses are red,
Pretzels are brown
Boy do you deserve a crown
You wiped my tears
You eased my fears
You taught me to play with my peers
All in a very short two years
You have no idea how impartant you are
without you I couldn't write my name on dad's car
You taught me my ABCs
And always set mom and dad at ease
From cake to popcorn to raisins to lunch
Many new foods you taught me to munch
Because of you I learned many new words
And I am starting to get where I put my terds
No poop in the pants
Let's 'Monkey Dance"
Your perfume I will surely miss
Smelling your neck was just pure bliss
You represent kindness, patience and love
The call of duty, you always rise above
You are quick to offer an encouraging word
Even when I'm being absolutely absurd.
I love it when we laugh and play
And even now that I'm going away
No matter if I travel far
You'll always be my teacher "star"
I'll never forget what an important part
You played in giving me a running start!
Love Tony
